Janny's Morning Smoothie

I make this smoothie most weekday mornings. It is soooooo good and fast!


  • Kale, Spinach, or Romaine (or other greens)
  • Bananas
  • Almond, Coconut, or Soy Milk
  • Frozen Blueberries (or other frozen fruit)
  • Ground Flaxseeds

I fill the blender halfway with kale, spinach, or other greens, add 2-3 bananas, 1-2 cups of almond or coconut milk, 1-2 cups of frozen blueberries, and a tablespoon of ground flaxseed. The reason I say 1-2 cups is because I don't really measure. I'm on my way to work and usually in a hurry, so I just throw everything in the blender. It is especially fast if you wash the kale or spinach the night before.

Lacey and Scott gave me a Oster Versa blender for Christmas, which makes it even faster, because I just start the Oster, walk away, and it turns itself off when it is finished blending. Yay!
